The next day I was on a flight out of LaGuardia, headed to O'Hare.
Apparently all the cool people fly on Sunday afternoons...
Now I'd love to tell you what project I was going to Chicago to work on, but you see, I signed this little paper that says I won't tell anyone. However, if you search for my company on the interwebs, we have been in the news a few times for this case.
Most of the time I was locked in an office, but in the evenings I had great dinners with my coworkers, and did get to walk around the city a little bit.
This is on one end of the Miracle Mile, about a block away from where I stayed.
This was RIGHT across the street! Some of my favorite shows are on this channel. Parenthood, Chuck, and my new fun one Friends With Benefits (the TV show, not the movie).
Every so often I do like Who Do You Think You Are? depending on who it is about. I find it interesting, and I like seeing all the places they visit to see what their family was like years ago.
One thing I did do was overcome some fears, and be like Ferris Bueller. I went to the very tippy top, 93 stories (maybe 92, either way, very high!) of the John Hancock building.
